Dog Parks in the Kansas City Metro Area

Dog Parks in the kansas city metro area

No matter where you’re at in the KC metro there’s sure to be a dog park no more than 15-20 minutes away.

We certainly love our dog parks in Kansas City. No matter where you’re at in the metro area, there’s sure to be a dog park — or two — within a 15-20 minute drive. There’s the beautiful swimming beach and wooded trails at Shawnee Mission Park, the agility course at Waggin Trail, and the recently opened Leawoof Dog Park. And if you have a small dog, some parks have separated areas just for the little guys.

Don’t forget to bring doggie bags! Some of the parks have them, others don’t. All of the parks have running water during the warm seasons, but in the winter you’ll want to bring your own.

Have fun out there and vote for your favorite park below.
