Make It Purrfect For Your Pet
We're hosting a pet open house Friday Oct. 30th from 1-3pm. We'll have snacks, games, a costume contest, and a photo booth. We're also offering a microchip promotion during the party. Microchips are $25, or you can pay the normal price, $40, and we'll donate $15 to our 4 Pawz Cause fund, which helps give critical care to pets in need. Everyone's welcome! Check out the flyer below.
Here are some Trick Or Treat tips for your pet:
Don't give your dog candy. We all know that chocolate is dangerous for dogs, but candy corn, wrappers, and lollipop sticks aren't great either.
If you have a cat (especially a black cat), keep it indoors for several days before and after Halloween. All pets, but especially cats, can be the subject of pranks or other cruelty-related incidents during Halloween. Also keep you dog inside Halloween night. They can also be the subject of said pranks but are also prone to be teased or stolen.
It's also a good idea to keep your dog away from the front door. Not only are strangers knocking and ringing your doorbell but they are also dressed in costume yelling 'Trick or Treat'! Also make sure your pet has it's proper identification on in case it does get spooked and run.
Keep pumpkins that are lit with candles out of accident zone to protect you, your pet and your home from burning down!
